L' importanza del tratto

L' avvento del cad in architettura ha rappresentato certamente una svolta epocale, nei costi, nella fatica, soprattutto nei tempi di esecuzione. Ciò ha però comportato una perdita di vista di quello che è un elemento fondamentale dell' architettura: lo schizzo. 

Lo schizzo è l' elemento più intimo di un progetto, l' embrione, il seme di ciò che potrà essere un giorno edificio, un oggetto od anche restare semplicemente un' idea.

Oggi nessuno più disegna, eppure tutti restano affascinati quando vedono i celeberrimi disegni di Le Corbusier o Mies, si sta li ad ammirarli inermi.

Come dicevo l' avvento del cad ha rappresentato una svolta sotto tanti punti di vista, ma ha provocato anche tutta una serie di contro quali ad esempio ridurre la progettazione architettonica ad una mera serie di copia-incolla, oltre che perdere di vista la spazialità, la forma di ciò che si va a progettare.

Io credo che bisogna tornare a disegnare, scarabocchiare, provare, osare, perchè anche nel tratto più semplice, bello o brutto che sia, c' è un ragionamento, un pensiero, un tentativo di rappresentazione che si discosta dalla semplice operazione macchinosa di cui spesso si è schiavi. 

Disegnare, pensare è un pò come tornare bambini, ed è questo che un buon architetto deve fare: immaginare cose che gli altri non possono.

The coming of CAD in architecture was certainly a turning point in cost, in effort, especially in the execution times. However, this has resulted in a loss of view of what is a fundamental element of 'architecture: the sketch.

As I said the 'advent of CAD was a turning point in so many points of view, but has also caused a series of counter such as reducing the architectural design to a mere series of copy-paste, as well as to lose sight of the space, the form of what is going to plan. 

I think you should go back to drawing, doodle, try, dare, because even in the most simple, beautiful or ugly, that is, c 'is an argument, a thought, an attempt to represent that deviates from the simple operation of which is often cumbersome we are slaves. 

Drawing, thinking is a bit like a kid again, and that's what a good architect should do: imagine things that others can not.
